Rapid fire: - Cash only. - Seated right away. - Food came out fast, hot, and was good. Friend flew to the states from China a few years ago, and moved to Seattle for a few months for an internship. Had been coming here for DAYS on end, so you know I had to try it myself. Doesn't matter what you order. Everything is good. Would definitely recommend getting the doughnuts and just dipping it in the chili oil. less

When you crave that home style noodles - these are the best! We visit here any time we come to Washington. Can't go wrong with any of their soup noodle dishes. Great service and friendly too. Clean place in Chinatown. less

Small, unassuming hole in the wall, but sooo good! Perfect comfort food. Noodles had a bite to it. Broth was hearty. Tendon and wontons were delicious. Must come back! Street parking was a little difficult, but we just had to make several rounds and walk a bit. Not a huge deal. less

Mike's is legit. Your good ol' solid Chinatown noodle spot. Every state/region has at least one you can count on. The one everyone will rave about. And garenz it'll be a hole in the wall otherwise, is it even good tho?! Customer service and people skills will be on the lower end of the bar but who needs all that jazz when you're needing comforting Asian food? I'm not there for mamasan to butter me up, I want the good noodz! This is it. Whenever traveling somewhere new, Chinatown and Asian foods is always on my mind. I knew this was a must as everyone has good things to say about it. It's cash only so be sure to have paper on hand. Prices are affordable and portions are good. Seattle is a chilly town so noodle soup is perfect for this weather. The broth smelled on the fishy side but didn't taste overbearing. The brisket was so soft and the won tons were a good balance to lighten up the richness of the beef. Noodles were nice, thin and chewy... perfect soft bounciness. Nothing is worse than a soggy nood. Soup was steaming hot so you know everything is quick yet fresh. Mr G inhales most of his food and he had zero complaints about his tripe. We both agreed everything was absolutely perfect. Like I mentioned before, service is fine. Not stellar but not completely rude. Something about Chinatown aunties you just have to understand. Never cheerful, kinda grouchy but don't take it personal lol. Trust me, Chinatown aunty is a whole #mood. I noticed restaurants in Seattle always served lukewarm/room teml water. Similar thing in San Fran in some spots. I assume in the chilly weather it doesn't make sense to serve iced. I'm not used to that but it's alright. Can't quite remember if we got hot tea... bit of a staple in Chinese food joints. If you got soup then I'd say it's not necessary. Like your typical Chinatown, there's street parking all over. I'm sure it's either metered or pay by qr code signage. The place is small so prob not good for big groups. I want to say there were like 6 tables or so in total that seat 4 each. There is a window inside looking into the kitchen where you might be able to see your soup being made. But honestly it's really just a small kine ancient cozy Chinese restaurant vibe inside. I highly recommend and will definitely have a visit anytime we are in town! less

Mike's has the best wonton noodle soup and preserved egg and pork congee. These are two items my mom and I order on our regular lunch visits. The wontons are a flavorful mixture of pork and shrimp and the congee is silky smooth. Tip: Ask for the spicy soy sauce with jalapeno for dipping. It's small restaurant and if we have had to wait, it's been brief. Cash only. less

Literally my 1st meal after getting off plane. Tried the steamed rock cod and it was spectacular- fresh, lightly seasoned, meltingly soft. The wonton noodle soup was as good as the 1st time! Only dislike is Cash Only. less
